Our joint ride with the South Fork Silverthreaders on Thursday, August 30, 2007 was a great success.  We had 17 members and visitors from our club and about the same amount from South Fork ( Approximately 32 riders and 24 machines). The ride included Grey Back Mountain and Burro Creek. The Silverthreaders were wonderful hosts.  We stopped for lunch and they provided the hamburgers for all. They are so organized.  I'm not sure where they carried everything but suddenly a table, grills and food materialized and lunch was being cooked over an open fire. One member gathered mushrooms along the way.  A frying pan was brought out and the mushrooms were cleaned and sauteed to go on the burgers.  Mmmmmm Good ! The views were magnificent and photo ops abounded.  We must do this ride again next year.
